MOSCOW, Sep 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian oil major Rosneft attributable to shareholders rose by 13.1% on the year to 432 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Revenue increased by 32.5% to 5.172 trillion rubles and capital expenditures rose by 14.1% to 527 billion rubles.
Rosneft paid a record 2.1 trillion rubles in taxes in the period, 20% higher than in the same period of 2021.
The company’s hydrocarbon production increased by 1.5% to 4.85 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Gas production rose by 9.2% to 1.12 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company processed 45.8 million tonnes of oil in January–June.
CEO Igor Sechin said as cited by the company that the results create a solid basis for growth in total dividends for the year.
